End User License Agreement
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between you (an individual or a single legal entity, "User") and EasyKernel Software ("Company") and governs the use of the DLOG software and related documentation (collectively, the "Software"). By installing, copying, or running the Software, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. Grant of License
- The Company grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software under the terms of this Agreement.
- The Software is machine-bound to a single activated computer. Activation is tied to that machine's unique identifier (Activation ID); copying license data to another machine will not validate it.
2. Free Trial
- You may evaluate the Software free of charge for 6 months from the date of first launch.
- After the trial period expires, key features are restricted until the Software is activated with a purchased license.
- The trial period has a fixed expiration based on first launch date and cannot be extended by altering the system clock (clock manipulation is detected and blocked).
3. Activation
- You provide the Activation ID displayed by the Software to the Company, and enter the License Code issued by the Company to activate.
- A License Code is valid only for the Activation ID (machine) it was issued for.
- Perpetual licenses do not expire. Term licenses are valid only until their stated expiration date.
4. Restrictions
You may not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to bypass, defeat, or duplicate the Software or its activation mechanism.
- Redistribute, rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or host the Software without the Company's written consent.
- Remove or alter copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices.
- Use the Software beyond the scope of the granted license.
5. Intellectual Property
All right, title, and interest in the Software (including copyright) remain with the Company. This Agreement does not transfer any rights other than those expressly granted.
6. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Software is provided "AS IS", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The Company does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of data or business) arising from the use or inability to use the Software.
8. Termination
Your license terminates automatically if you violate the terms of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must stop using and delete all copies of the Software.
9. Governing Law
To be finalized prior to formal distribution.
